Found Central Jersey Auto Salvage on Google to look for a replacement rim for my daughter's car. She bounced off a curb and a new rim was hundreds, with a wait time. Their inventory part search was awesome!! Found exactly what I needed in seconds with actual photos! As a kid, I'd have to rummage through junk yards for hours or days to find what I needed to fix my car. With a quick call to obtain pricing, Max couldn't have been more pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. Upon pick up, Dave was amazing and even put the rim in my trunk. I can't say enough about the outstanding service, fair pricing, genuine good people and system that Max and Dave have. They should be the model for similar businesses nationwide.
What a fantastic place to buy a car! Through no fault of theirs (I came in with my own financing and the lender was taking their time), I was there ALL day. Other reviews mentioned it and I'll repeat, these guys are straight forward and it's good clean business. I listened to them handle other customers and they were just pleasant to be around. When it came time to handle things on their end it was most expedient! I'm really satisfied about my purchase, Dave was transparent and showed me every receipt they had for the work done on the vehicle. What they fixed and what they left out from repairs due to costs. Told me how much the parts were and gave suggestions for acquisitions if I wanted to get them myself. They lay it all on the table so you can make an informed decision. I have trust issues when it it comes to money especially when you are being payed with a check. I called many places but Modern Day Rec....gave me the best offer for my car. They were on time like and called me to let me know they would be at the location at a certain time. They did their thing and we swapped the tittle for a check. Cashed it same day at TD Bank. If you don't have an account their it's a 10 dollar fee witch I was fine with. They are legit. I will definitely call them and recommend them to family and friends.

Sold tires that needed to be disposed of and recycled and insisted they were like new. Andy would not give back the money once we paid for them even as I insisted I'd pay to return them a week later. We are now going to court and will make sure this does not happen again. Awful human to deal with.

Sold my car to this company after it was broken into and burgled. Was offered $500 for my car the way it was, when they came to pick it up they said they can only give me $380 as the catalytic converter was missing. I had the pictures that their tow truck driver took of the missing part examined by a Honda specialist who showed me that the part was indeed still there and not missing. They scammed me out of what was originally offered. While cleaning out my vehicle i left the EZpass behind which i had not realized until weeks later when i went to look at my statement to find that my EZpass has made several trips in and out of Manhattan since selling my car. I went to their advertised location to speak to them and all I found was a residential building that had a real-estate lockbox on the door.
