In October of 2021 we called this company to what we thought was to junk a car that needed a repair to costly to want to keep. Quoted over the phone $750 dollars. We drove the vehicle to his business location. Where he proceeded to try and tell us the catalytic converter was not the original and basically tried to say car was worthless. It was very clear that we were being lied to by the driver. However we did not want the liability of this vehicle and settled for $320. This is not where the story ends. Last week we got a notice that the vehicle we gave up to be junked, was left abandoned on a street in Dolton. Which means this guy really made out like a bandit with this vehicle. The person who answered the phone I had to ask him multiple times for his first name, but his voice, it was all to familiar it was the same guy from a year ago. Be very cautious using this business, take pictures that he takes possession of the car, be sure to mail back the Seller information to the state. This guy sold this car, I am guessing without a title. Because whoever took possession of this car, never registered it. The man told me he would call me back, did not verify he had my number, and when I called him back, he told me I never sold him the car.

The worst place to go to pick up a car, only two trucks and the wait is more than 40 minutes and without reducing the time and also the office is empty, if you try to see why they do not notify you to arrest you, they always treat you well evil. I recommend that if you can avoid this place do it

They junked my BMW for the best price. My catalytic converter was stolen a year ago so I had to replace with an aftermarket catalytic converter which caused the quote to be lower. I forgot to mention the catalytic replacement on the phone … but still I got paid the best price

I had a very poor first experience with this company. When I could not find the part I was looking for on their website on December 20, 2017, I called them and was connected to a saleswoman. She explained that for parts that they do not have listed online, they open the yard on Saturdays for customers to search for the part on junk vehicles. She told me I could come on on Saturday (DEC 23rd) between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM to look for the part I needed. I thanked her and said I would be in. On Saturday the 23rd, I prepared the tools I would need, dressed in layers and work clothes for the cold weather, and drove 20 min. to their location. I found an empty parking lot and an 8.5 x 11 paper posted on the door saying they were closed for the holidays. All they had to do to avoid this was let me know they would be closed, or to update their website and Google Map listing so that when I searched to find directions, I would have been notified they were closed. Instead they needlessly wasted 1.5 hours of my time, and created an experience that detracts from their brand and reputation. In this digital 21st century, I don't see how businesses can survive by treating customers and prospects this way. All I know if that if I treated my customers this way, I would not stay in business very long.
