I’ve been going to this place on and off for 20 years but the last couple I’ve tried to do it as a job so I started monitor my loads where as before I didn’t…WATCH your tare weight had the same truck for 5 years and the tare weight is always different and I’m the only one in it 90% of the time… I’ve had extruded aluminum they put it as aluminum clip etc. KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE ask what they say it is before you put it on the scale…Don’t go past the stop sign which is either covered by overgrowth or upside down or you’ll get screamed at he may even chase you with his front end loader back to the stop sign then have you wait 20 minutes The guy they have in the back to direct you is a stand up guy will help you but he’s hardly there wonder why? If you’d like I have plenty of receipts some from the same day where you can see what I’m talking about the tare weight plus they have no read out at either scale so it’s whatever they want it to be

Same day pick up

I called them five times, got four different quotes, made two appointments that never materialized, and never spoke to the same person. I never got a call or text beyond the initial contact and had to hassle them to try and take the car. I ended up going with another dealer who got it done in one go. Oh well.

The worst experience at a scrap yard. I don’t take a scrap often. However, after the 35 minute wait because I was a new customer and his regulars came in after I did I became a second class customer. Will make the drive to Saint Augustine or Jacksonville next time.

Needed to remove my old car quickly. Called Friday night and they made appointment for Saturday morning at 9am to pick up my car. Good communication when arriving at vehicle. Gave us fair price. Experience was super smooth. Highly recommend!

So far so good the place is where you will find the proverbial needle in the haystack
