Very nice and professional people. More than fair pricing for good quality parts. I made a purchase over the phone due to my work schedule and the distance from where I live it’s not possible to pick up during business hours, yet they made it work and arranged after hours pick up for me. I highly recommend this business, and I’ll gladly do business with them again!

I was able to get 4 new/used tires with 80-90% tread on my dodge journey same day, same HOUR as I called to see if they had any! AND ON TOP OF THAT they also mounted them on the spot! These guys are awesome and will take care of you ASAP! Thanks Aikeys!
Terrible service The owner had an attitude the entire time I was there. And all i was as nice. Said he would trade parts for The Price of the vehicle i sold him . I saw him a month later still didn't Do anything with it I ask him about it he just laughed and said no he didn't have time To look And said there's no need to be in a hurry right. Waited another month Called him and he told me he didn't Find The parts ask him if I could get the money He didn't even want to weigh the Truck. Finally did almost a 1000 pounds more than what he said. I'm a small business and I Work with a lot of People. And would never think Of doing business like that. Plus I needed the truck for work.
Mike is great!! Was willing to work with my crazy schedule and towed my car away for free! Ended up getting a better deal with him than other places in Ames that charge for towing.
Tony and his coworkers were a great help purchasing parts for my upcoming project. I at first told them the wrong part, which they pulled and had ready for me, but they had no issue refunding me the money and supplying the part I truly needed. Although you might expect a pretty rough experience surrounding a metal recycling center, Bell salvage has consistently provided good, friendly service. The location isn't pretty or clean, but what would you expect from a salvage yard? Even in the yard, the staff has clearly provided information and been friendly. Plus, it's always nice to leave someplace with a little extra cash in your pocket after getting rid of some unwanted trash.
Owner is a walking roledex of parts knowledge and the prices are right for the DIY mechanics.

Much friendlier than my usual west end junkyard. Laid back and pleasant place to find the part you need. Not clean as the Milan place was, RIP, or the Moline airport place, but it's a big yard with good selection. The drive out is really pleasant too, if the wind isn't hitting the water treatment plant...
