my papaw used them and i still do. reasonable personable and they go out of their way to find what you need. you pull or for a fee they will. need any old part for your ride then give them a call first.

We got stuck out of town from Ohio. The young man who towed our vehicle was amazing; however, we were never informed that our vehicle was done. We just happened to stop on our way up north to get some things out of the car before heading home. Needless to say, your receptionist is not good at her job and should be informed of what it cost us because of her negligence.

I’ve usually had a pretty good experience with this service, however, I was much less satisfied with my experience today. I called hours early to request a tow for my car, which had a flat tire, to a nearby Firestone for a 1:00pm appointment. I let them know that I was not with the car and they assured me that they would give me a call when they were about 45 minutes out so I could meet them. Instead I got a call letting me know they were waiting at the car at 10:20am. That was the first problem. The second was that after my vehicle was already loaded onto the truck I was informed that the charge would be $95. I could understand if the tow was a significant distance, but it was 0.4 miles. I have had my car towed across town with this service before (dead battery) for a fee around $50, so it was quite shocking to be paying almost double that for less than half a mile. The technician was overall friendly, and I have no complaints about his service. However, the rest of this was an uncomfortable situation, and it seemed like the company was trying to be opportunistic. I’m disappointed, and will call someone else next time.
Not from the area but Wolfe is hands down the best! Was onsite within 15 minutes. Hooked me up with a few shops to take my truck too. Also offered to Uber me around if I was unable to leave town. Next time I come through Grayson I might just get a tow to hang out for a while again.

They gave me a great price on my broken car (engine died). They had a tow truck out to meet my car just a few days after initial contact. A half hour later they had the car and I had a check. All very easy. If I have a car in the future that dies, I’ll be contacting these guys.
They have the part I needed and they put it on to in less than 5 to 10 minutes so I highly recommend them here they are very professional and very good to have

David with J Hooks Towing and Recovery is the man with a plan. Someone had slashed one of my tires and received the dispatch and was there to pick my truck up within minutes. I was still waiting on the police to arrive for the police report. He was very understanding patient while waiting. Thank you David, and thank you J Hooks Towing and Recovery for being dependable!!
